Optical-grade borosilicate glass. Flat to within 0.01mm. The 72 blank slides and 100 cover slips let you prepare wet mounts, dry mounts, and stained sections. Pond water, onion skin, leaf cross-sections, blood smears — any compound microscope becomes a research instrument with proper preparation. Includes 10ml distilled water and a small bottle of methylene blue stain for immediate use.
