Liebig Condenser — 400mm, 24/40 Joints, Borosilicate Water-Cooled
Every reflux reaction and every distillation requires a condenser — the device that uses cold water flow to turn solvent vapor back into liquid, allowing reactions to run indefinitely without material loss.
The Liebig condenser is the standard straight-type: coolant water enters the outer jacket at the bottom, exits at the top (counter-current to vapor flow), and the inner tube carries solvent vapor that condenses on contact with the cold glass. The 24/40 joints are the universal standard — this condenser mates directly with any round-bottom flask, distillation head, or adapter in a standard organic chemistry kit.
- 400mm jacket length; 24/40 standard taper joints top and bottom
- Borosilicate 3.3 inner tube and outer jacket
- Hose nipples for 8mm rubber tubing (inlet/outlet); counter-current cooling
- Compatible with all standard 24/40 distillation apparatus
Every purchase directly funds independent physics research at the Golden Physics Project.
