A proper dissection pan keeps specimens positioned, instruments organized, and working surfaces clean — the rubber-bottom wax tray is the standard substrate for pinning and immobilizing biological specimens.
The 30×23cm high-density polyethylene tray is filled with black paraffin wax that accepts dissecting pins without cracking and provides a dark background that maximizes contrast against pale tissues. The black wax is colour-neutral under white and UV illumination, making it suitable for fluorescence staining work. Includes 50 stainless dissecting pins (38mm, 1mm diameter) in a storage vial.
- 30×23×5cm tray; black paraffin wax base — accepts and holds pins firmly
- HDPE frame; wax rated to 80°C before melting
- Includes 50 stainless steel dissecting pins (38mm × 1mm) + vial
- Wax surface resealable: melt flat, re-cool, reuse indefinitely
