Electronic Personal Dosimeter with Continuous Alarm — Gamma & X-Ray (0.01–999 μSv/h)
Occupational exposure limits exist because ionizing radiation accumulates — this dosimeter integrates your dose in real time so you know exactly where you stand on the Sievert scale.
Unlike film badges or OSL dosimeters that must be laboratory-processed, this electronic personal dosimeter uses a semiconductor PIN diode detector to count ionization events continuously and convert them to dose rate (μSv/h) and cumulative dose (μSv/mSv) in real time. The PIN diode structure creates a depletion region that produces a current pulse when a gamma or X-ray photon ionizes a carrier pair — detection physics identical to ATLAS particle detector layers at CERN, miniaturized to belt-clip format. Configurable alarm thresholds warn before dose rate or cumulative dose limits are exceeded.
- Real-time dose rate: 0.01–999 μSv/h (gamma + X-ray, 40 keV–3 MeV)
- Cumulative dose: 0.01 μSv–9.99 Sv with OLED display and trend graph
- Configurable alarm thresholds: audible + vibration + LED
- USB-C rechargeable; 200-hour battery; IP54 water-resistant clip-on form factor
