Dual-Head Clinical Stethoscope — Cardiology Bell + Diaphragm, Latex-Free
Auscultation — listening to the body's acoustic emissions — is the oldest diagnostic technique in medicine, and the stethoscope converts pressure waves in the range of 20–1000Hz into audible signals with extraordinary sensitivity.
The dual-head chestpiece gives clinicians two modes: the diaphragm (larger, flat side) for high-frequency sounds like breath sounds and normal heart tones; the bell (smaller, cupped side) for low-frequency sounds like mitral stenosis murmurs and S3/S4 heart sounds that a diaphragm would attenuate. Latex-free tubing eliminates allergy risk; the adjustable headset fits most ear canal sizes.
- Dual-head chestpiece: 45mm diaphragm + traditional bell
- Frequency response 20–1000Hz; 68cm total tube length
- Latex-free PVC tubing; chrome-plated zinc alloy chestpiece
- Includes 2 spare earpiece tips; nameplate on chestpiece
